The African Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, has pulled out of the Afro Plus Fest 2025 performances.
In an official communication by the Afroplus Fest, Shatta Wale, who was billed to perform on the 2025 edition of the music festival, has pulled out.
While expressing regrets and pleading with fans for any inconveniences, the organisers disclosed that “Logistical constraints”, and “Tight timeline” are the major contributors to the situation.
According to the communique, Shatta Wale and his team have put in much effort to make his performance happen, but the aforementioned reasons could not make it possible.
“Shatta Wale and his team have worked tirelessly over the past weeks to try to make his performance happen. He was truly prepared to join his fans in Washington, D.C, and he was truly disappointed to miss this moment,” the presser says.
The statement states categorically that “this decision is not due to any lack of efforts or willingness from Shatta Wale or Afroplus”.
